Dalquharran Estate

 Abundant with opportunity

Dalquharran Estate

Dalquharran Estate is a 270-acre site just outside of the village of Dailly in South Ayrshire. Home to no less than two historic Castles, the estate is bursting with mature forests, wildlife, and a fascinating social history.

Once a bustling family-run estate owned by the ‘Kings of Carrick’, the Kennedy family, the estate and its castles have a fascinating past, including as a school for the deaf, and sheltering evacuees in WW2. In the 20th Century, the grounds of the estate were home to coal mines – a long since abandoned enterprise that now presents a unique opportunity as a renewable heat source.

In the last forty years, there have been many grand plans for Dalquharran Estate but it  received little to no investment or efforts to upkeep until purchased by The Cairnhill Group in 2019. Now, The Cairnhill Group has a number of plans for the estate which will not only transform it into a successful enterprise once again but will create a number of benefits for local communities and the surrounding environment.
