A Paton & Son Livestock

A Paton & Son Livestock oversees over 1000 acres of farm land, used for finishing cattle and farmed with crops, grass, and woodlands. As the backbone of the wider group, this land has been farmed by the Paton family for four generations, and taught them how to care for, tend, and use the land in a way that ensures it thrives for future generations.

The farm rears livestock in a welfare-focused manner. The animals live on the farmland and are fed well on home-grown wheat, barley, potatoes, and beans. This not only keeps them healthy and well, but produces the best meat.

Recently the farm has also introduced new wildflower fields. These fields will become rich with pollinators and other species of animals which in turn improve the biodiversity of the local area.
