Access and Conservation

A beautiful estate like Dalquharran should be accessible to visitors and locals alike. 13km of pathways and walking routes, fully accessible and useable to all have beene created. The next stage of conservation for the estate is to deliver new wetlands and wildflower gardens that will provide habitats for different species of wildlife and improve local biodiversity.

With the estate now accessible and routes completed, The Cairnhill Group are working hard to raise awareness and encourage its use by the local community. The Cairnhill Group has organised the ‘Dalquharran Dash’ family run, and dedicates time to engaging local people with the natural beauty and social history of the estate.
